|a The course aims to equip you with the skills of writing in English for publication. The central focus will be on text structure of a research article and on language aspects of academic style. The course will provide you with a range of activities encouraging you to develop your critical thinking and the ability to learn from others' as well as own writing, which is essential when writing in a foreign language. This is you who will build on published research articles, active reading and peer correction. Your results will be twofold - you will acquire the knowledge, strategies and skills of academic writing in English, which you will be able to further develop and apply in practice PLUS you will have five final drafts ready to be incorporated into a larger text of your future research article.
