Summary:The sol-gel method obtained spherical calcium phosphate materials. To obtain a homogeneous material, stepwise heat treatment is required (after drying at 60 °C) at 150 °C, 250 °C, 350 °C for 30 minutes each and at 600 °C for 6 hours, at 800 °C for 1 hour. After immersion in SBF solution, the samples exhibit bioactive properties, as on the surface, an increase in the content of calcium and phosphorus ions and the presence of precipitated ions from the solution are recorded.
