| Summary: | In the present study, we performed a cell-centered finite volume method with Higher-Order scheme for approximation flow is presented for numerical solution of oil-water displacement problems. This method was used to discretize the saturation equation. The pressure equation was approximated by Implicit Pressure – Explicit Saturation method (IMPES). The obtained results were compared with those found using First-Order Upwind scheme (FOU). As a result, Higher-Order Upwind scheme (HOU) has shown effectiveness in the regions of slow saturation changing and near the shocks. |
