| Summary: | The paper presents the author's methodology for determining the regional communities of the social network «VKontakte». The solution of this problem is necessary for the implementation of the study of the quality of life of the Russian regions on the basis of open online data. As a result, 5 criteria that allow to classify communities as regional are identified. By regional communities in the article we understand such communities, which contain information about the social, political and economic situation in the region. The developed methodology and the register of regional communities can be used in other projects in which there is a need to identify regional communities. |
