The latter includes tumors of the thymus (thymoma and thymic carcinoma), neuroendocrine neoplasms, germ cell tumors, mesenchymal neoplasms, and hematolymphoid malignancies. The use of ancillary diagnostic methods is illustrated, where appropriate, providing assistance for pathologists in arriving at the correct diagnosis. | ||
