Hermeneutic and narrative methods of classical geology within the structure of modern geological research

This article briefly presents the characteristics of hermeneutic and narrative methods used in classical (historical) Geology and also identifies what role they play in modern geological studies, the objectives of which already go far beyond the studies of Earth's past.
