Summary:In this work, an aluminum yttrium garnet was obtained using the sol-gel technology and a phosphor on its basis of composition Y2,8Tb0,2Al5O12. The phosphor is a well-formed particles with a uniform distribution of all elements, including the activator on the sample surface. When studying the spectral characteristics, it was found that the maximum intensity of the emission is observed at the wavelength em. = 546 nm (exc. = 260 nm), which corresponds to the green region of the spectrum.
