Photocatalytic properties of zinc oxide nanopowders obtained via nano- and picosecond laser ablation in air

The pulsed laser ablation of a zinc target in air is used to prepare nanopowders containing zinc oxide and hydroxynitrate phases. The effect the power density of pico- and nanosecond laser pulses of the fundamental harmonic of a neodymium laser has on the structure and morphology of nanoparticles is...

Description
Summary:The pulsed laser ablation of a zinc target in air is used to prepare nanopowders containing zinc oxide and hydroxynitrate phases. The effect the power density of pico- and nanosecond laser pulses of the fundamental harmonic of a neodymium laser has on the structure and morphology of nanoparticles is studied. The synthesized materials are studied during the photocatalytic decomposition of Rhodamine B dye.
