| Summary: | The objective of this book is to introduce the practical pathology. This edition of practical pathology (earlier called pathology practical book) incorporates these newer aspects of knowledge and methods of learning practical pathology. The emphasis throughout the revised edition has been on effortless and focused learning by the students on practical points in various sections of pathology and simultaneously preparing them for viva voce in diagnostic pathology such as on slides, specimens, instruments, normal values, similes, etc. This book consists of 61 chapter is divided into 8 sections, patterned on the format of a practical class of students. These are techniques in pathology, general pathology, systemic pathology, cytopathology, haematology and lymphoid tissues, clinical pathology and autopsy pathology briefly explained. All these exercises have been updated in their textual contents by adding newer images at several places while redundant information and older images have been deleted. At the end of each exercise, a few key questions based on that exercise have been added along with brief answers to prepare the student for facing viva voce confidently. |
