| Summary: | The textbook was compiled by the staff of the Department of Oral Surgery of I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation. In the chapters concerning the organization of surgical dental care for the population in the Russian Federation, the latest directive documents and regulations, recommendations for oral surgeon, which is carried out according to the principles of ethics and deontology are given. Issues of etiology and pathogenesis of each nosological form are considered. The pathological anatomy, clinical picture, diagnosis, as well as methods of treatment and patient routing to other specialized medical institutions are described. In the chapter devoted to the diagnosis and treatment of benign and malignant tumors and tumor-like formations, much attention is paid to the principle of oncological alertness. The textbook is intended for students of dental faculties of medical universities.
