Christoph von Hellwig

thumb Christoph von Hellwig (15 July 1663 – 27 May 1721) was a German physician and alchemist as well as a prolific writer and publicist. He wrote under several pseudonyms including Valentin Kräutermann, Caspar Schröder and Constans Alitophilus Hertzberger. He served as a physician in Weißensee, Frankenhausen, Tennstedt and Erfurt at various times. He is considered as one of the inventors and promoters of the modern toothbrush. Provided by Wikipedia
